Hi  Becca_p    THANK  YOU  for   answering  my   message,  have  just  call  one  of  your  team  and  paid  the  outstanding  charge.

AT  last  I  am free  of the  worry,  only  please  look in to  the  problem

that   I  had   no  letters   from VODAFONE  telling  me   I  owed the  money

I  thought  by  closeing  my  DD  that  would do,  as all  your  letters

have  vodafone   in red   on the  envolpe   I  would  have   opened it.

Did get one  from  a  agent   which I  replyed  to  saying  all  I  told  you

enclosing   a  copy  of my  KIDNEY   opp   tp prove  I  what I  was saying.

and  heard   no more.

Regards   Thank  you.   XXXXX       have put  pic on here

Hi Andy,

I'm sorry to learn of your situation with your health.

Unfortunately Yes you really shouldn't have stopped your DD.

You could have asked Vodafone to block the lost sim and send you a replacement so that you could continue to use your allowances.

A sim only contract does not end but continues on a 30 day rollover when it's term is up unless you give Vodafone Uk the required notice to end the contract.

If vodafone has passed this to a Debt Collection Agency then you'd need to liaise with them to pay off the required amount.

Unfortunately this will have also probably been reported on your Credit File as a Default which would remain in place for 6 years. Showing as Outstanding until paid and then would show as Settled but will remain for 6 years.

Http://www.experian.co.uk offer ways to check your Credit File.

I assume your recent visit to get a new sim only has a new mobile number.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512gb.

Hi  Thank you   as u see  all is   I  hope  all ok.

Andy
