Can some one please tell us why does vodafone tell you that it takes 30 days for your internet to settle down but only 14 days cooling off period .

How is that fair

It should only take around 10 days for FTTC broadband to "settle".  If you've been told longer then it may be wise to get a copy of the transcript and get OFCOM, or Newbury Trading Standards involved - you are being scammed!

They always used to say 10 days for DLM to do it's bit on ADSL, but on VDSL should be finished much earlier.

Who said 30 days?

Vodafone advisors keep stating it can take up to 30 days .

Open reach states 10 day for DLM

Bit misleading for customers wonder if admin or moderator could answer

It seems, according to this story, that they changed from 30 days to 14 days in 2019.

VF say "around 10 days" for the line to condition here

Make sure that if you decide to quit in the cooling off period to do it on day 13 and not day 14 because VF may starts counting the days differently to what you think that they are.
