Hi all,
My broadband connection was activated today and at first I was very pleased with how much faster it is compared to what I had before.
However after about an hour I lost the connection and the power, internet and WiFi lights were all flashing white. Turned the router off and on again and it was fine for an hour or so again and the same thing happened - no internet connection and the three lights flashing.
Anyone have any ideas? I was having an online chat with customer service but never got a response to my question.

I would give a factory reset a try. The dropouts they are seeing may be just when the router "dies".
If you could log into the router, whilst it is working, can you check what firmware it has.
Also paste the line stat. Like this:
Current Rate | 79999 kbps | 20000 kbps |
Maximum Rate | 83284 kbps | 27801 kbps |
Signal-to-Noise Ratio | 4.3 dB | 10.7 dB |
Attenuation | DS1 9.1 dB, DS2 22.1 dB, DS3 34.3 dB | US0 2.1 dB, US1 15.2 dB, US2 24.6 dB |
Power | 12.8 dBm | 4.2 dBm |
CRC Errors in last 6562 minute(s) | 0 | 941 |
K (number of bytes in DMT frame) | 0 | 0 |
R (number of bytes in RS code word) | 8 | 0 |
S (RS code word size in DMT frame) | 0.0647 | 0.3819 |
D (interleaver depth) | 8 | 1 |

How do I factory reset?

Although as you can login to the router it would be better to go to Settings - Configuration - Factory Settings.
Your SNR figures are very high, but that is probably due to all the reconnects, they should improve once it is working fully.
Whilst you are in the configuration pages could you make a note of the firmware level, it is on the bottom of every page.

Ah that is ancient, hopefully now it's been reset the next time it tries to update it will complete. You will see it as a reboot that will then come back without dying. Assuming it does, log in again and see what firmware you have then.

Disappointed to say that it still isn't working.

Sorry to hear that, I think you may need a new router. I suppose we have got to let Vodafone complete their checks and see what they say.

Experiencing the same issue for 3 days now. It's really hard to get help anywhere, even at the vodafone stores.
I've recently got the new broadband and was activated on the 4th of November amd ever since it did the exact same thing where it will work for about half an hour and then start blinking the "power", "internet" and
"Wi-Fi" lights

You definitely won't get help at the Vodafone stores for your broadband.
You need to ring broadband support on 08080 034 515, but first try the factory reset as suggested previously.

After over two weeks of messing around mine is finally sorted. It turns out it was a router software issue.
The frustration is the daily calls where you have to explain everything from the beginning to each different person you speak to, only then to get fobbed off or each time they escalate the issue there is a 72hr wait before any update or action.
I had two engineer visits prior to them realising it was a software issue.
