I'm getting drops between my computer on Ethernet and the Vodfone-supplied router every ten minutes according to the router's diagnostic event log. A sample of the log is below:
06.02.2020 | 00:10:26 | LAN client computer-2 (IPv6 address elided) disconnected with IP address 192.168.0.151 | LAN |
06.02.2020 | 00:02:06 | User sucessfully logged in to UI from LAN | System |
06.02.2020 | 00:00:26 | LAN client computer-2 (IPv6 address elided) disconnected with IP address 192.168.0.151 | LAN |
05.02.2020 | 23:50:25 | LAN client computer-2 (IPv6 address elided) disconnected with IP address 192.168.0.151 | LAN |
05.02.2020 | 23:40:24 | LAN client computer-2 (IPv6 address elided) disconnected with IP address 192.168.0.151 | LAN |
This is nothing to do with the line connection as far as I can see, the computer reconnects invisibly with nothing reported in the event log (I'm typing from trhis computer now). I have a direct wired connection between the computer and one of the router's Ethernet ports, there are no switches or other devices in the way.
Another symptom that's appeared recently and may be connected to the disconnections reported in the event log is that connections to websites and downloads are "hesitant" with a few seconds delay before the transfer starts, however I'm seeing about 35Mbps transfer speeds when the connection is established which is what I'd expect. Ping times to common sites like bbc.co.uk are fine, about 17ms.
Has anyone else seen something like this happen?

Exact same problem. Absolutely infuriating. I haven't had a reply to my post about it though. Not only am I getting drops frequently, but the speed is atrocious as well. I'm on Superfast 2 and this is what I get most of the time:

London / Manchester

@Privateofcourse @Nojay Is this happening when you're on Wi-Fi or a wired connection too?
