Unblocked device wont reconnect

Accidently blocked my Nest thermostat last week. I've gone into the router app and unblocked it, it wont reconnect.

I've tried blocking and unlocking. 

I've reset the router, twice

I've reset the device, many times.

Even if I type in the route name and password it still wont connect. 

The device is still listed in my offline devices. 

Anyone have any tips on getting it working again?

This seems strange!

There's some handy steps to try here , have a look at step 8 which resets the whole network connection.

After 5 says and over 20 hours in chat I was told it's a faulrt router. Every time I reset the router I lost more devices. 

I was told I was being sent a new router and chased it to find the order was raised wrong. It takes 24 hours to cancel an order before they raise a new order.

Without finding a phone number which Vodafone say its only chat id still be in chat and nowhere further. 

Pretty much disgusted in Vodafone.

I think that could be said about most of the posters on here.

I hope I'm wrong but that doesn't sound like a router fault.

I have been sent a new router for a different problem and neither 1st nor 2nd line can make it work on my account. waiting for a call from 3rd line now.

What is the point, I've spent about 30 hours on chat and about 3 hours in the phone.  I'm trying to raise a complaint yet the first person put me through to totally the wrong team who took pity on me and worked with the right team to help.

I'm still waiting for a call back to make the complaint. 

Ofckm can deal with it from now.
