Okay so my internet is very slow, i have been in touch with live chat support but they cant help....
so basically whenever i do a speed test it connects to vodafones own server and my internet speeds look like this https://gyazo.com/f23feb1d6eb31c7b36e8b4f32d58ad52 (im paying up to 76mb download mind)
but when i selected a server which is close to me (cardiff) i get these resluts https://gyazo.com/66c94c7b3b0f541ac2a2e2c3a70d9f0b (included the screenshots below aswell)
My internet speeds are really slow i cant watch a youtube video at 720p without lags. its pafetic.
Can anyone help? Im guessing my server has been chaged or something like that.

Our advisors do need to go through some basic troubleshooting, however once that’s been done, we can actual test just about every part of your service. Let us know how you get on.

Let me know when you get up to testing and the results, as this slow speeds are really irritating.

Have you tried doing a ping to bbc.com using your cmd and if it comes back high run a trace to see where the slow hop is

if you ping bbc.com from the cmd it will show you the ip , then if you type tracert then the ip ,
eg tracert 151.101.0.81 then it will show you each stage of your connection from you to bbc.com and you can see where it slows , the link is mine

I called the complaints number and aparently up to 7 days maximum i am meant to get a reply. Ive been told not to use speedtest but this http://labs.thinkbroadband.com and the first speed test on it is for streaming and i get 21mb and then it instantly drops to 8mbs.. I dont understand what they have done.

the important bit to look for is the single thread speed test - it should in theory be as fast (or pretty close) to that of multithreaded. Streaming of videos and downloads generally only use a single thread, so if that is slow you can expect slow downloads and possibly buffering too.
