Hello Everyone.
I have just swapped my phone from the Galaxy S20 Ultra, to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. I did this last Monday.
I just noticed that the S22 I have doesn't allow me to use WiFi or 4G calling. The menu setting isn't even there.
Indeed when I went onto the Vodafone Tool that checks compatibility it says this:
4G and WiFi Calling are enabled on my account,
So I am just guessing is a new phone "provisioning" thing.
Otherwise, any ideas how to get it resolved?
Thanks
Solved! Go to best answer.

Bingo, we have contact!
The Twitter team said that the "Tech Team" have sent my phone some "Text Messages" and to restart it , so I did and 💥WiFi Calling is on.
So, for the Avoidance of Doubt:
- The Samsung Galaxy S22 - can do WiFi Calling regardless of Software, Source of Origin, or variant.
- The Phone isn't Incompatible.
- You Don't need to Reset the Phone to Factory.
- You Don't need to stand with one leg on a layline, with a divining rod, facing north.
- It just needs Vodafone to their job.
My guess is that the Database at Vodafone that carries IMEI numbers/Devices that are compatible with Generic Access Network, Wi-Fi Calling, VoWiFi or IP Multimedia Subsystem/Session Initiation Protocol (IMS/SIP) applications over IP networks just needs updating to indicate that the S22 Series is compatible with the service.
I have just put my phone on flight mode, and made a call and its working fine.
Thanks to the twitter team, though it shouldn't have to have come to that.

Hi Amanda. I'm currently discussing this with Amber on social media, if you're able to point her in the right direction? Thanks.

Amber is still refusing to raise a complaint or get it passed to someone in the tech team. It shouldn't be this hard to get something resolved!

I thought I was getting somewhere yesterday. Managed to persuade the person on the app to get the technical department to call me.
They said it would be in the "next 2 hours".
Nobody called! 😤

Pretty standard that then, there is only one company I know that when they say they will ring back and it's not any groaning behemoth the size of Vodafone, however, the bit that takes the money from your bank though, ironically works flawlessly.
Just keep pushing, ringing back making a nuisance of yourself eventually someone will be bright enough to care and know what you need and it will get sorted. The phone can do it, mine is doing it and that's enough proof for me (and you)

Managed to get someone on the online chat who knew what I was talking about and did it while I waited. Now works. 😅

Is there an option to turn on 4g(voLTE) calling or is it on by default?
Please don't say i have to go thru all that again. 🤔

Hi all, thanks for your patience and all the posts. From the issues that have been raised, we've fed this back using our internal system. If you need a hand, for the time being we would recommend that you drop us a message on Facebook or Twitter with a link to this thread. The social media details can be found here.
@chistery - This is not what we like to hear, we've found the conversation and this has been passed over to one of our team who will raise the complaint and help to get everything resolved.

Hi MarkD, after a few more messages, someone else has now managed to get it fixed! VoWifi is now enabled on my Vodafone SIM 😀 It took longer than it should, but it's all good now. Thanks.

@marcd Should I see a switch for 4g(voLTE)? Do I need to ask for this to be switched on as well?
