Hi,
For the last few months I am struggling with mobile data around my neighbourhood in North London (N19). The connection is either very slow or dropping, in particular when using data. I have called customer service, reset my network settings, was given a new SIM, tried a new phone but I am having the same unreliable network. Any ideas?
Thank you.

Why would i waste my time? What Vodafone claims and what you actually get are worlds apart. Vodafone mobile data signal is bad everywhere i go, even friends on Vodafone say the same thing, so this is is a Vodafone issue and its not for me to waste time talking to anyone to try and resolve it. If you want to fix this then INVEST in better transmitters
Its very obvious that Vodafone is cutting costs with its transmitters and they are not as good as they used to be many years ago.
I just hope many people read my comments and choose not to go with Vodafone

This isn't the way we want you to feel @MAW0101 - If you're facing these issues everywhere you go, I'd advise to look at those locations on our Network Status Checker. If it shows a better coverage than what you're getting, then with this being in so many places, I'd recommend to test the SIM in another phone. My team in Social, work closely with our Network Engineers. If you change your mind, then please message us on Social Media and we can run through the checks for you.

Are you a real person or just a chatbot because you keep referring to the Network checker and giving generic responses when i've already told you that the network checker is garbage because it exaggerates the quality you claim customers will get.
Im currently in Blackburn and your amazing network checker claims 5G EXCELLENT signal and when i do a speed test i get 6Mbs. If you call this excellent signal then i would like to ask you what year you think it is because in 2024 this is archaic
For instance i was at Oulton Park race track this weekend that has 5G towers all around the track and i was struggling to access the internet, and then on my way home i had to drive for 20 minutes until there was enough mobile data signal to access google maps. This becomes a real problem when relying on maps for sat nav and you go away from built up areas because the signal vanishes and the maps cant update.
I've tested my sim card in 3 phones and all of them had dogsh*t Vodafone mobile signal.
You cant keep blaming hardware when the problem is with the signal Vodafone supplies.
I just wish i could end my contract now FREE OF CHARGE and go back to EE because their network actually works

I am a real person @MAW0101 - Sorry if my message had come across as a templated reply, it wasn't meant in that way. With you mentioning our Network Status Checker is showing a expected better coverage than what you're getting, then I would recommend getting in touch with us, via one of our Social channels. From there, we'll check which mast is used at the requested location and check how it's performing on our internal systems. This is for any area where you've been stationary, as when travelling we can't guarantee a signal, due to switching between masts.

That's very surprising that you are real because you answer exactly like a bot.
Your answers vaguely cover he topics i mentioned but lack the content of an actual answer.
I tell you Vodafone has bad data signal everywhere i go and you want me to report my local mast? Im sure that will be really handy then next time i drive somewhere and need satnav but Vodafone cant give me enough data for Maps to guide me anywhere
There are many people on here who are experience the same lack of signal and they are all from different locations so its clearly not my local mast that is the problem!

I suspect your sole purpose of posting on this forum is not to seek help, but to throw insults around.
There is a difference between automated answers and scripted ones.

No i came to investigate the signal issue Vodafone clearly has to rule out it being my phone being problem.
I turned to sarcasm when it became clear that communities "experts" were about as much use as [Removed]

Where have VF claimed anything about specific data speeds? The online coverage checkers predict received signal strength, not data speeds.
"Better transmitters" or "cutting costs with its transmitters" are interesting comments. If only network planning were so simple!

One would assume that 5G speeds mean fast internet, when Vodafone claims 5G speeds but im getting speeds from 15 years ago and actually struggling to access basic websites it would appear that their claim is false.
Mobile phone signal was better in the UK 10 years ago but Vodafone is an a different league of degrading signal.
ANYONE READING THIS DO NOT SIGN UP TO VODAFONE, IT MAY BE CHEAPER THAN EE BUT USELESS AND YOU WILL REGRET TRYING TO SAVE SOME MONEY.
ALSO DONT BELEIVE WHAT THE COMMUNITY MANAGERS SAY, THEY ARE PAID BY VODAFONE TO HIDE HOW BAD THEIR NETWORK IS, THEY WILL BLAME ANYTHING BUT VODAFONE
SIGN UP TO 02 OR EE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE

That's a coffee & keyboard statement if ever I saw one.
