Data Roll Over Limit

I had 13.5GB when I renewed my big bundle. I then received a text saying "Great News, we've rolled over 7.00GB ..."

and my app is showing 14GB.

So has vodafone just taken 7GB from my  existing 13.GB and added it to the 7GB big bundle leaving me with 14GB?

if that's the case I won't rush to renew  in future. not worth it.

When you change a BVB you won't be able to roll over the unused data allowance, it has to be for the same BVB.  There is further information here: What is Total Rollover on Big Value Bundles? 

If you meet the criteria for total rollover, the App may update at midnight tonight and show the correct balance tomorrow morning.
