Transfer PAYG SIM to existing account

I've just bought a new phone for my mother as a gift, along with a PAYG SIM (as it requires a nano SIM, and her existing phone is years old) - I know I can transfer her number to the new SIM, but can I also transfer her PAYG account too? It needs to be in her name rather than mine, and so she can keep her existing top up card etc - does anyone know if this is possible?

Your Mother is going to need to do a SIM swap to a new numberless blank SIM,  this will move her present number to new SIM here: Replacement SIM cards , the new SIM will come as a multi SIM here: multi SIM  The problem here is going to due to all the data protection reasons, the request is going to need to be made using your Mothers information and Vodafone will be asking some security questions.  

As far as top up is concerned, I am sure top up cards were discontinued long ago and the ways to top up are here: Top Up

The cleanest way would be for your Mum to take a trip to a Vodafone Highstreet Store with ID and they'll do the sim swap in house for her @aitchboss 

You would need to check whats happening in your Tier area and what your local Vodafone Highstreet Stores are doing in accordance to local restrictions.

She could use the sim you have at the moment in the interim while this can be done but just use a new number for now.
