Hi Vodafone
My account has been closed on 7th January, final bill paid in February and £0 balance on account.
You are still reporting to credit reference agencies that the account is active, and not closed and Settled.
I have spoken with your customer service team online and by phone, and no one seems to understand what I'm talking about.
Please can someone help me from the Forum Team to get me in touch with the correct department to have my account 'closed and settled' with all credit reference agencies? Thanks.

If the outstanding balance you mentioned wasn't paid, or refunded back by ourselves, this will be the reason your account still showing on your credit file and having the affect you mentioned @mak20. A number of of Social Media team are experts in dealing with these kind of queries. Pop them a private message through Facebook or Twitter, with your full name, account/mobile number and a link to your post. They'll be happy to look into this and if one was reached, follow any course of action requested by the Ombudsman.

I’m having the same problem, my accounts settled as of last year, and moved number to another network but still receiving communications and accounts still showing on credit agency’s.
please help???

Unfortunately i do not use social media so this isn’t an option for me.. any other suggestions would be great

Hi Andy, I don't have social media and as previously mentioned when I have called numerous times Vodafone are unable to find my details perhaps because the account is closed, what do you suggest in this instance?

Hi @Gemmad1989 On the link I provided above there is an additional link for our Live chat service which does not require social media, we should always be able to find your account however we do sometimes need to search for it in a slightly different way when the account is no longer active, if you have the account number available this would be the best thing to provide the advisor to help them find the account, this in a lot of cases can be found on your credit report if you don`t remember it 😊

I'm having the exact same issue. Account was closed three years ago. Just talked to a customer service representative online but they weren't able to resolve it.
Could I also get the steps to resolve this matter, please?

Hi, I'm having the same issue. I closed my account using a PAC code and made my final payment in January but a late payment is showing on my credit report and is affecting my credit score. Can someone please tell me how i can sort this ASAP?
