Hi all sorry if this is in the wrong place ...I have applied for the black friday deal but as yet have not had any conformation back.I have tried speaking to vodoafone and xiaomi but all they do is pass me from one to the other any IDEAS??????

That's a shame as it's a nice phone but I understand that the e scooter was part of the deal that attracted you in the first instance.
Vodafone do provide a 14 day cooling off period.
I wish you all the best with how you decide to proceed after the return is completed.

Hi all, I got a reply today telling me the reason my claim was rejected was that the photo I sent didn't contain details of the product purchased as well as the order number and the date. They have however given me 5 days to resolve it so there is still hope. If you are attempting this you should use this link not the one they provide as it will not accept the IMEI number on the other page https://xiaomiredemption.com. Enter your IMEI number then attach a jpg or png that includes all the details (I had to put 4 photos side by side and take another screenshot to get the whole confirmation email in). The customer support email included another discount code to apply during the ordering process on the Xiaomi retail website which covers the entire cost of the scooter as the old one is now invalid. Not sure if this will help newcomers but it may give peace of mind to those who have had their claim rejected. Wasn't sure about the customer support before but they returned my message promptly so good for them.
