Hi,

I have spoken to an online agent, who has agreed and made a note regarding an incorrect default placed on my credit file- I had cancelled my account in Feb 2018 and defaulted on a payment in May 2019 (a credit note was issued) for a an incorrect bill. 

 

I was given a number to reach the defaulting team however it is incorrect. Another number was then provided and this too was straight to Experian??


Please can someone from the team contact me as a matter of urgency?

From your post, it sounds like the next step you'd need to take would be to speak to our Credit File team, who can be reached on 0333 3040 191. Alternatively, you can reach out to our Social Media team here, and they'll be able to liaise with the team for you.
