Please can someone tell me how to speak to the Vodafone credit team. I can't get through the phone menus and have made 10+ calls to 03333 040191 so far today with no luck. Have spoken to Aya in Customer Service who was very helpful and to Deepak on Web Chat who was also very helpful, but neither of whom are able to give me written confirmation that my default debt on credit report is a mistake and will be removed.
This stems from last October when I rang and wrote to Vodafone to cancel my broadband dongle contract. No further correspondence was received from Vodafone, so I had assumed it was all resolved. However yesterday I had my mortgage application declined due to a Vodafone debt of £56.84 which I had no knowledge of whatsoever!!!! Apparently although this was actioned on 11th November 2016 there was a Vodafone back-office error which has caused this default debt which I had no knowledge of, no emails, no letters - nothing from Vodafone to advise of any ongoing problem!
Have spent all morning and managing to resolve this with Aya cancelling the debt and Deepak making lots of notes on my account - - I am now hopelessly stuck in a loop of pressing 1s, 2s, *s hanging up and starting again in order to speak to the Credit team who may or may not be able to update my Vodafone record on Credit Scoring reports so that I can get on with my life and get a mortgage. HEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPP! ! ! !

Please can you message me the link to contact the finance team. As I to have had the same issue as all those above.
Seems like a common occurrence, can I suggest making it easier for people in our position to get in touch with the correct team as your friendly staff over the phone don’t even know this team exists. It’s just a suggestion from a mere peasant, what do I know.

@cal_89 @Mightymoose1 I'm sorry to hear you're both facing a similar issue with your credit files. I've sent you both Private Messages with instructions on how to get in touch with our specialists. Please follow the steps included and we'll do all we can to fix things.

I am suffering from the same Experian credit report issue.
However, without my knowledge I was charged an early termination (after my contract ended) in 2017 which only just cropped up in the form of a bill recently, despite not having an account with Vodafone.
ive checked my credit score report and it's showing late payment fees from 2017 to present. I've spoken with Vodafone and they have removed the incorrect early termination fee but cannot advise if this will be removed from my credit report and have advised to speak with the Credit Alert team.
Does anyone have a number I can contact them on pls? My credit report have been severely affected as this has been ongoing for 2.5yrs with a fee of £253.47

The Credit File Specialist Teams are not customer facing so there is no contact information for them.
Instead you'll need to go through the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries who will gather your info and pass this to their Credit File Specialist Teams for investigation.
If found warranted however the default would remain on your Credit File for 6 years from the original default date.
Paying the amount owed changes its status from outstanding to settled.

Hi. I have discrepancy on my credit report from vodafone which don't match up between the 3 credit agencies. Can someone contact me ASAP to get it updated. This is causing me issues getting an updated mortgage

As there is no account access via this forum anymore more may I suggest you speak with the Social Media Team's via Twitter or Facebook as they have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team who can investigate further.

I need HELPPP please!
I have two Vodafone accounts showing as still active on my credit report despite leaving Vodafone over a year ago. I have tired disputing it on my Transunion, but Vodafone keep rejecting it saying my accounts are open with a £0 balance.
I can't get through to anyone. How can I contact Credit File specialist?
