Can someone confirm if this is correct as it seems bloody stupid.
I have a contract with Vodafone that expired end of January and has reverted to a rolling month. I have just taken out a new contract with Vodafone, but in order to move my number over, I have to switch now to a PAYG contract with someone else, wait 30 days https://xender.vip/, and then I can get my number moved over to my new contract?
I'm not even changing network.

If this is a contract with a different number the previous contract will need to be cancelled and this will be correct @logan55 , the quickest way will be porting the number you wish to keep to any other network on PAYG and PAC back in on the new contract.
When you upgrade it's best to complete the process with the same number through your online account or by contacting Vodafone.
