Hi,
i have 2 problems here.
I looked at my credit score and it says that i have a vodafone account in default in september 2019. I closed my account in january 2019 as i moved to 3. I got my PAC code and closed my account. After looking at my credit score account it says ive made payments jan/feb/march but then missed payments april may then it is blank and then again in july? even though i was not with them. I have recieved no letters from them as it is my old address but the same mobile number. Is there anyway i can sort this out as i know this can have a big impact on my account. The worst part is i am back with vodafone with the same number but nothing about this was mentioned?
my other problem while trying to sort this is with this TOBI. i have tried the online chat to sort this and it directs me to ring them and then when i speak to this TOBI on the phone i just go round in circles until it says check the link we have sent but because i have the same number it is bringing up this contract not my old one. I tried several times got angry and gave up so thought i would give this a go.
I would appreciate any help. I have seen other posts where people have had this taken off so just need some help!
Thanks

Hi @Harker98
As there is no account access via this forum anymore can you please engage with the Vodafone Social Media Team via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and they'll look after you as they also have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team.
Please link back to your thread here including your forum username so your not having to repeat yourself.
I wish you all the best with this situation.

Obviously this isn't a normal thing but I'll explain my problem. I had a Vodaphone account for over 15years (from early days) during which time I paid every bill and answered every question. I had a account where I obtained default for a part of my account which I subsequently paid off.
the problem is, It wasn't removed from my credit report so I have all sorts of trouble getting credit.
I no longer have the account details available but when I try to contact anyone all I get is standard company rubbish and no humanity to clear this up. Does anyone know how I can get the base information and then hopefully get this resolved

After many years with Vodaphone, with no major financial or contractual issues, I left in 2018 because the costs started to increase yet the service decreased.
During my time in contract I had multiple family users, including a mobile Dongel which was used by a family member. When I closed the account I was told theee was a default of the cost of closing the Dongel account. I was not aware it was closed but managed to get the bill paid by the user.
since leaving I have discovered a defalut was added to my credit report which had hampered my credit rating obviously. I have tried vodaphone so many times it aches and eventually I gave up with the Covid taking over.
However things are better now but I still have this hanging over me. I am struggling to get the account info and all I have is the number I used but this doesn't get me far.
is there any process to get this sorted or a path to the right department in vodaphone to clear this up.
please help........

Hey there @Markwelch190468 - I understand how important it is to get this cleared up especially when it's your credit file. We do need to show a true reflection of payment history on credit files so if this is showing correct we wouldn't be able to amend it but we can certainly check for you.
Please get in touch with us on social media. If you DM us with a link back to this forum thread, your forum username and either your mobile/landline/account number or email address attached to the account we can help.
I've moved your other post regarding this same issue to keep this all on one thread 😊
