I'm currently indoors @ postcode EH164UX in Edinburgh. My signal is one bar, I'm still showing H+, but struggled to load this page up. I also had rubbish signal last week. The signal doesn't improve when I go outside. The signal checker says coverage should be good, but it isn't. I did a speed check through the app and it was rubbish. Is work being performed in the area that is causing this?

I know how frustrating it is when signal drops.
For the Social Media Team's to help please can you use the tips inside the following link and use the template.
Network-issues-initial-checks-and-template.
Also a good process of elimination is to try your sim card in another phone and if possible another sim card in yours.
May I ask which make and model of phone your using too ?

I saw one of the transmitters was having issues so waited to see if this would sort the problem, which it hasn't.
1. Only in one location
2. EH164UX, slightly better outside than in.
3. Can't swap out handset at location with issue, but it's fine at home and have switched out at home and got the same signal.
4. None
5. Network coverage checker for the past month has said good 4G inside and out, yet I'm barely getting 1 bar of H and it's even been to E.
6. W/c 16 Aug 2021 was the point the mobile data was so poor I struggled to use the Internet, it may have been poor before but not this bad.
7. Permanent, in this location.

Hey @GraemeDallas, I've had a look at the area around the postcode you've provided and it looks like our engineers are currently doing some work at a nearby mast at the postcode EH15 2QA. This would explain the issues you've highlighted. Our engineers are working hard to get things back up and running as soon as possible and you can register to be updated once more information becomes available on our coverage checker here.
In the meantime, you may also consider using Wi-Fi calling as an alternative if you don't already use it. You can find out more about this here. If you continue to experience issue once the work is complete, please don't hesitate to drop us another line over on Twitter or Facebook 👍.
