I am trying to link to alexa from my Vodafone account but each time there is an issue saying the site is under going maintenance.

There is some help in OneNumber/Amazon but if this does not help and you checked all your settings and cleared any relevant cache / cookies etc and it still won't connect then I'd suggest to have a word with customer services on 191, Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and I'm sure they'll endeavour to help you. 

Unfortunately there is no account access via this forum.

Unfortunately having spent 2.5hrs on the chat this morning it seems like a lot of confusion at Vodafone. Different teams told me that this was a chargeable add on for £7 despite Vodafone's own website and press releases in 2019 saying that connecting through Alexa with One Number is free. Eventually the final agent confirmed this is the case, it is free with Alexa and my plan definitely allows for it and that re-installing the app would sort the problem out...and it didn't.

If anyone does have any suggestions please let me know otherwise i will just need to put an escalation in

No, sorry I kept being told it was a paid service, despite all the advertising saying it was free, I gave up in the end 

Thanks, it worked for me until I changed my contract recently. No one has a clue why and I have spent hours trying to resolve. I have now been told to call Amazon. Thanks for coming back to me.
