What's going on with Vodafone saying number invalid when callers number is private?

Absolute nightmare with Vodafone saying that number is invalid and please check number for my callers who are calling from private or hid their numbers. My bank is concerned my number isn't working when infact Vodafone has messed up network!! Network is fine if others number is not private but when number is private it says my number not valid. Unbelievable!!

Spent 5 hours with Vodafone chat trying to resolve this. Called my own number over 50 to 100 times to resolve as Vodafone can't call to my number? Surely they have customer service who can call customers?  They said they can't call and i have to chat.

Spend manager was turned off without my authorisation and they haven't put it back on.

My bill has gone from 40 to 58 in the last 5 hours without making any chargeable calls/ messages or data use.

App not letting me login to change my spend manager. Hang on i can't control my own spend manager ever. This isn't the first time. Surely they shouldn't be allowed to turn it off without my consent/ authorsation.

Last contract i had paid nearly 500 pounds as month for several months as they updated their systems and spend manager didn't get transferred to new systems. Couldn't deal with their nonsense so didn't battle this as life events took over.

All this repeating again. Nightmare!!!

If you do not have a Twitter or Facebook account follow the complaints process here: Complaints or use live chat or contact through the Customer Service channels.

Thanks a lot Ann,

Im afraid i don't have Twitter or fb. Only emails and WhatsApp.

Or happy to have a private message sent and i can provide my account details.

Most businesses operate customer service via social media these days, so it's worth having an account even if it's just for this purpose.   Twitter is probably best and you can set your privacy settings high so that it's effectively private.
