minimum plan needed to get one number up and running

I'm on Vodafone Red 20,  does Vodafone one number work with any pay monthly plan or do I need to upgrade to a new price plan? when a one number plan is setup,  how many devices can be connected to a one number plan?

I have two amazon echo devices(dot and echo plus) and was going to setup one number with them just now,  planning to get Apple Watch ultra 2 when released in sept and get that added to one number

thanks

hi @Beth

I connected to online chat,  but don't feel he was very helpful.

I asked him "l'm on Vodafone Red 20, does Vodafone one number work with any pay monthly plan or do I need to upgrade to a new price plan? when a one number plan is setup, how many devices can be connected to a one number plan?"

and his response was "Alistair you can only connect one device with one number and one plan .
If you want to connect more device so you need to add new additional line on account ."

this info can't be correct in this day and age.,  where most people these days live in a multi-devices,  e.g. Apple Watch, iPad, Amazon echo etc

hi, how many devices are you allowed on one number at any one time ?  I was planning to connect my Alexa echo device connected to one number also planning to get an Apple Watch ultra,  when 2nd gen are released around Sept time.  but what is the max devices are you allowed on one number at any time time?  3x devices etc, when I call 191 I'm getting different answers from customer service reps,   1 rep said I can have as many as I want as long as I pay relevant fee for each device I have connected to one number.

thanks in advance

Hi @Anonymous 👋 You can certainly have multiple OneNumber services connected to a number, so in the scenario you have mentioned this will work without an issue. At the moment I can't see if there is an upper limit to this, if I find out any more information I will let you know here.

@Andy thanks you so much for responding,  I have now connected my Alexa device to onenumber and registered for the portal.  if you do get any more info on this,  can you reply to post or send me a PM,

Thanks again

Alistair

I know this is an old thread, but to answer the question, in MyVodafone, it says I can add 3 connections to OneNumber.

Take that with a pinch of salt... My account shows the same thing, yet my plan doesn't even support onenumber!

Well that doesn't surprise me!  😀

I'll be trying Onenumber out at the weekend when my Samsung Galaxy Ultra arrives hopefully.
