Like thousands of others who have posted here with the same issue, I have received a Network Unlock Code for my Samsung S8 which does not work. I have tried it at least twice with an EE sim and once with a new Tesco PAYG sim, none of which attempts has worked.
I would suggest that Vodafone stop supplying phones which are locked to their network, until they can come up with a foolproof, reliable method to unlock phones from their network. The current situation is simply unacceptable.
Please provide a solution forthwith.
I have another phone a Samsung A5 which is also locked to the Vodafone network and for which I have requested and unlock code, which has not yet been received. So I now have 2 phones which have been completely paid for and are now my property, which Vodafone has ensured I cannot use.
Please resolve this issue ASAP.

Hi @pnewbery
I appreciate its frustrating when the unlocking code does not work as it should.
A search of the forum would have returned the answer that some Samsung phones possibly need a MCK mastercode also known as an unfreeze code as well as the Nuc.
Hopefully as Ofcom are looking into stopping networks locking phones before suppying them then this maybe a thing of the past in the near future.
