Following my query about deregistering my suresignal box so I can pass it on to someone else, i have drawn a blank with no help given.
I rang and spoke to 2 people on the 03333040191 number and the first woman said it was no problem to deregister my suresignal box, even though I was no longer with Vodafone (my company moved us all to EE in October), as i registered it with my email, on my post code on my mobile number (which i have kept on EE) and have my box serial number. She put me on hold and transfered me another bloke. He said the woman was totally wrong and they couldnt help and that I needed to speak to a store in town who should help. today I went to Lincoln and the Vodafone store didnt have a clue about suresignal boxes so they rang vodafone for me...they said it couldnt be deregistered either, so my nearly new suresignal box is basically a paperweight now. Surely, after hearing on the eforum and by hundreds of other posts, this simple deregistering of my box can be done!
All I want is someone from Vodafone to ask me for the box serial number, mobile number, post code, address, email etc and then say that they have deregistered it for me.. I cant do it in the website as I no longer have access, i would just love someone at Vodafone to tell me the way to do it, as my experiences over the last 24 hrs have proved ot me that no one knows whats going on, many thanks, and hope someone can help me.
