My Vodafone app not working

The app hasn't worked for weeks and now comes up with 'sorry we are having a few technical difficulties at the moment' as soon as I open the app. Have reinstalled several times and spoken to 191 and was given the all will be fine in 24 hours rubbish but still dead.

I use a Nexus 6p running Android 7.0

Anyone able to fix this?

@SanjM When did your new contract start?

 

Sometimes the app does not kick in until the first end of month bill has been produced.

Last week - 26th September 2016

 

Yeah reading other posts it may be that I have to wait until the 25th October or thereabouts to see the app work. But not sure as none of the Vodafone staff on 191 could tell me that.

Mine stopped a few weeks back at least. It was giving false information to start so uninstalled and reinstalled and now I get an error every time I start it.

It must be a common issue as there are alot of people moaning about it in other places.

Spoke to 191 just now (after being disconnected twice by the South African & Indian call centre) was told that there was nothing to report following my call last week even though I was told the 'Back End Resolution Team' would contact me within 72 hours I have heard nothing and they haven't responded to the email sent from the call centre on the 28/09. This team is in the UK would you believe and are not contactable on the phone only email. Good old UK based team letting the side down!

Now you can see why Vodafone are the most complained about company to Ofcom. They are a shambles when it comes to customer service.

If you are thinking of joining, DONT! STEAR CLEAR!!!
