Problems with a new S7 Edge

Hi all, i have just received my Contract Samsung S7 Edge from Carphone Warehouse on Monday 27th March and am having issues. I can make a call and it will be fine for about the first 10 seconds and then it will start to sound like im in a underwater tunnels and then the call drops. This has been happening on every call in multiple locations. I am slo getting very slow speeds on the 4G, typically around 5-6Mbps and videos and things are buffering during playing and quality is dropping. I have checked the vodafone coverage on the website and this is showing as fine for 2g/3g/4g indoors and outdoors in my area (NG5) so i don't understand the issue. I did have a cover on the phone but have removed it and the issues are still present. At the moment i am on the verge of returning the phone and cancelling the contract as in a week i haven't been able to use it for its intended purpose. Incidentally the only call that hasn't experienced issues was when i phoned customer service to seek advice and was told its not our problem its carphone warehouse' cause thats where you got it from.

Please help.

Hi, i havent received any emails, neither auto replies or replies from someone else. I filled out the form in the private message as requested and that was the last i've heard. I've since had another letter from CCSCollections as well as a phone demanding money.

Hi again, i have now received a reply (Ref #16581772) which says the charge has been removed and the default will be amended on my credit file. I will send a copy of this email to the CCSCollections team and hopefully they will stop harassing me.

Thanks

##~## is wrong with this company. On the 30th July i received the email attached aggreeing that the contract was ended within the cooling off period and that the charges had been removed and my credit file would be ammended. Then today in the mail i receive the two attached letters telling me my account is suspended and i have 14 days to pay or a debt collection company will be involved! Please sort this out. I have tried to call customer services but nobody speaks english well enough to understand.

@scrappysphinx I've removed the pictures in your above post as they contained some personal/private information.

Please contact us using the information in the private message I've sent so we're able to assist you with this.

I tried to swap handset but told me I can't due to not known issue and to far into contract

Vodafone are rubbish and I'm reporting to ofcom and taking legal actions

I'm not arguing with you in just passing on what I was told and updating the thread as I was asked. He said I was about the 80th person he's spoken to and told me a new SIM wouldn't fix the issue. I've tried a new phone and been to the voda store and my issue still remains so I think I'm forced to go back to carphone warehouse and resolve my issues before my cancellation period expires and I'm paying for something I can't use.

No argument just discussion and hopefully new info that can go onto help others in a similar situation.

I wish you well.

I'm having there exact same problem and have been having it for over a month. Vodafone are using delaying tactics by making me do trouble shooting stuff like factory reset, deleting cache memory, turn off WiFi calling and lots more. They even gave me a brand new s7 edge but there problem is not with the phone but with Vodafones Android 7 update for s7's so I still have the problem on the new phone. Vodafone staff seem to all have been told not to accept that there is a known problem and to tell the customer the problem is just with their phone. Ive looked into this problem on line and found its affecting vodafone customers in Germany too! No wonder they are playing it down as they obviously can't fix it.
