Sure Signal not working with Sky Broadband

Since changing over to Sky, my Sure Signal hasn't worked.  I've seen that people are generally getting that problem so I've done resets etc but to no avail.

IP address is in the 2.219.*.* range so is the Vodafone firewall receiving this?

Also, run a trace and got:

tracert 212.183.133.177

Anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Hi jnorthall,

Firstly, a very warm welcome to the eForum Family, it's always great to see new faces on here :).

As far as I'm aware, all of the new Sky Broadband IP ranges have now been implemented into our firewall whitelist, I will ask our engineers to check the 2.219.x.x range though.

In the meantime though, I have forced a resync on your Sure Signal, can you let me know if that's made any difference?

Thanks for the welcome.

It now seems to be working fine so perhaps the forced resync has done the trick?

If the Sure Signal does lose connection again, I will let you know.

Thanks George.

George, or any of the mods.  Would it be possible to do this forced reset for my sure signal, I have reset both the SS and the iphone but still getting call failed.

Brendan

Hi brendan002,

Can you post your Sure Signal serial number please?

Cheers,

No bother Lee,

SS serial number - 40110709686

Lets give it a go and see if that helps,  it's not a major problem as the wifes phone now has full bars but would be nice to connect first time.

Regards,

Brendan

Hi Brendan002,

I've just forced a resync of your device. Please allow up to 24 hours for service to resume. If after 24 hours nothing has changed then please perform a factory reset.

Cheers,
