Sure Signal not working with Sky Broadband

Since changing over to Sky, my Sure Signal hasn't worked.  I've seen that people are generally getting that problem so I've done resets etc but to no avail.

IP address is in the 2.219.*.* range so is the Vodafone firewall receiving this?

Also, run a trace and got:

tracert 212.183.133.177

Anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Hi allarsj,

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks

Thanks Andy ... I'd already followed the troubleshooting guide but have posted in  (hopefully) the right place now.

Thanks

I am having the same issues with a new sure signal box on sky broadband.

I get one flashing signal white light and the red power light.

My traceroute brings up:

My IP is: 90.216.10.210

Sure Signal Serial Number: 40110747264

My Speed is: http://www.speedtest.net/result/1387290679.png (Not happy about that!)

We moved house 4 weeks ago and I get no signal at all on my vodafone iphone, its taken all this time just to get the internet and a main phone line, absolute nightmare!

your upload speed is .15 and the ss needs min .33 to work for calls. that'll stop it working anyway

speak with your isp, see if they can up your upload speed

Hi I have recently received my sure start box and I am with sky broadband, I have followed all the instruction and still only have the red power light on!!!  My ip address is 192.168.0.7  and serial number is 40114642727.  I really need some help please 😞

Hi there angela1978,

Many thanks for your post about your Sure Signal. There is currently a wider issue that is affecting many customers.

The symptoms include a steady power light despite the Sure Signal being registered and the owner being able to add users. I have taken a look at your Sure Signal and can see it was registered on the 2nd of January and it's yet to connect to our servers. I believe you are affected by the issue I've mentioned.

The good news is that we have identified the cause and are working towards obtaining a fix as soon as possible.

Cheers,

Lee
