Hi
I’m contemplating switching my my broadband from BT to Vodafone. I currently have Full Fibre with BT and Openreach came out and installed all the required cabling etc direct into my house for that service.
What I’m wondering is if I switch to Vodafone will they just be able to use these existing lines installed by Openreach or do Cityfibre require to come out and do additional work? It was quite a saga with Openreach getting this done so would rather avoid getting my drive dug up again if possible
Thanks

Vodafone seem to use CityFibre in preference to Openreach where both are available.
Assuming you are going to sign up on-line (there are decent voucher offers via comparison sites) look at the speeds offered. If the uploads are the same as the downloads it will be Cityfibre, If the uploads are lower than the downloads (as you currently have) it will be Openreach.
