PAC code

Hi

Apologies if this has already been answered recently. 

I ordered a PAC code yesterday. If I don't use it within the 30 days of requested it, will my phone number still work? It's a PAYG sim. Was thinking of moving over to o2 and having their £5 per month bundle, but my experience with o2 at one of their shops today is making me think of staying with Vodafone for the time being

When you don't use your PAC nothing will happen, it will expire (after 30 days) and you will need to request new one if/when you decide to move your number to another MNO/MVNO.

My experience with O2 is mixed, no support for Call Waiting and somehow I thought the call quality was rubbish when on 2G/3G networks. (I have not tried on their 4G network if at all supported on PAYG).

Look at 1pmobile or smarty for MVNO's both also support VoLTE and VoWi-Fi for areas that have no signal.
