Hi Vodafone
My account has been closed on 7th January, final bill paid in February and £0 balance on account.
You are still reporting to credit reference agencies that the account is active, and not closed and Settled.
I have spoken with your customer service team online and by phone, and no one seems to understand what I'm talking about.
Please can someone help me from the Forum Team to get me in touch with the correct department to have my account 'closed and settled' with all credit reference agencies? Thanks.

I have the same problem, recently been checking my credit report and have found a Vodaphone account still reporting despite having left Vodaphone over a year ago. I've been trying to contact via the live chat but its constantly busy - Would anybody be able to help?

@johnhall77 I'm sorry to hear your account with us is reflecting against your credit report , since cancelling your contract - I understand how unsatisfying this must be. Hi there,
I'm having the same issue. I left Vodafone two years ago and the account is still showing on my Credit file as a monthly payment of £0.
Please help in closing this properly.

I'm having the same issue. I closed my account in March after my contract ended but the account is still appearing on my credit report. I spoke to someone via the chat and they did not help me at all. Can someone assist me with this?

Did anyone on this thread get this sorted? From a quick google, 100’s have had this issue? Account 2016 still reporting as active. I’ve tried for 8 months to have this rectified. I did get a random payment which was owed into my bank two months ago. Quite how that worked I don’t know, as I’d had the final bill.
No one seems to be able to sort this out and the Twitter team are not responding. This is my last desperate call before I report it to the ICO. It shouldn’t be this hard to have correct data on my report.

Hi,
Could somebody please help me, I have spoken to vodafone numerous occasions and each time they have been very apologetic and they have now told the credit mananagement company they told I hadn't paid that it was an error on their part and that the account should have been closed by Vodafone in 2019. My credit report is still showing the account as open and that payments are being made which they are not - i need this correcting but struggling to get anyone that understands the situation via customer services.

Hi @Mattyc15 we are not able to access account details on this forum but if you contact us by clicking here we can then make sure one of our credit specialists can take a look at this, can I ask how long ago you were told that we had made the credit company aware of this, as there can be a delay in this updating on the credit report that you are able to see?

I am having similar issues, my account was closed years back, there is an outstanding balance with i have refuted & I have previously gone to the ombudsman. This was never resolved.
I have been trying for ages to get to the bottom of it all. Literally been trying for years & had recently totally given up but on checking my credit file recently i really need to get it sorted as this is having an adverse effect on my credit. I have found that I have wasted days of my life on hold regarding this & I really just want it sorted once & for all.
I still have the account on my credit file & I also receive an email every month to say my bill is ready when I haven't had the phone or the number for at least 4 years if not longer.
I do not even now my old number/account number now & have tried to do an online chat many times so i can finally get the situation resolved!
Please can someone contact me who can actually resolve this finally!
