I want to email someone with a complaint that it is impossible to cancel my monthly mobile as I have already switched companies and do not have a number. I have wasted about 5 hours of time going into store, trying the useless TOBi and an adviser (should you be so lucky to get through to after about 40 mins!!!!).
I have asked my bank to cancel DD for a service for this but until the contract is cancelled, they cannot do this. Every month I get £81.99 taken from my account which I cannot seem to cancel.
Help!!!

The Vodafone Social Media Teams via Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM should be able to help > Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.
However you can still raise a complaint via complaints/code-of-practice @KrisP
I wish you all the best.

This is confusing to sat the least @KrisP , a mobile account cannot exists without a number. If you have changed networks by using a PAC and taken your number to an alternative network this would have automatically cancelled your account.
If you have taken a new contract and number with a new provider and just want to cancel your account the easiest way is to use a STAC code, text STAC to 75075 using your Vodafone SIM in the phone, you will receive an instant reply and will only need to submit the STAC to your new provider.
Follow the guide through here: Cancel Account

Hi @KrisP! Our Social Media team can check over your account, raise a complaint, and advise of the next steps, however, they won't be able to process the cancellation directly due to the nature of the platform. This will need to be done with a member of the dedicated team on 191 from a Vodafone phone or 03333 040191 from any other UK phone.
Alternatively, if you have access to your online account with us, you should be able to generate a STAC and then give this to your new provider which will cancel the contract with us without replacing the phone number. Just to advise, if your contract hasn't completed, an early termination fee will be added to your next and final bill with us
