I have just signed up to a new plan which gives a free entertainment package.
I have received a text with the entertainment link on when I try adding YouTube shows the next page says "oh dear! We'll take you back to the home page" and they only option is a "close" button
I would be grateful if you could solve this problem.
Regards

@anuraagpaul no this doesn't work for me.
As I mentioned when I do this it says youtube premium is already active under my subscriptions, but on YouTube it says my membership is inactive

Yeah this happened to me last week when the issue first came about. After a few days, it wasn’t under my active memberships anymore with the fix coming a week later. You need to get in touch with VF to have this removed first for you to be able to reactive YT Premium, can’t see any other way around this.
Hopefully this gets resolved for you ASAP as it’s far from ideal.

Not good at all its now been over two weeks and no update, we are paying for it still but not been able to use the service. If this doesn’t get sorted in next couple days i’m leaving vodafone and taking my services else where.

This has now been fixed, if it’s not working for anyone, you need to contact vodafone and ask them to remove from your account and re-add again than you would need to activate it.

THIS ISSUE IS NOT FIXED!
Issue still exists, about a month ago I have renewed my contract with Vodafone for 24 months and signed up to Unlimited + 4 Xtra benefits + Entertainment Pack, and choose YouTube Premium as the offered service.
After 1 month YouTube Premium subscription expired and now showing as "Inactive - provided by Vodafone". I have chat to at least 5 different Vodafone customer services rep and 3 others on the phone explaining the issue giving them the links I have found on the web describing the issue .. all they kept doing is sending me new links to click on to re-activate the service which failed miserably each time I tried because the message received was keep referring to the fact that there is an active YouTube Premium service and I cannot subscribe again until this "Inactive" subscription provided by Vodafone is removed from my Google / YouTube account.
I have tried to cancel the subscription via YouTube app on my phone and also directly via Google Account management page... but for some reason I do not get an option to do it.
Very disappointing, as I have wasted 2 days on this and Vodafone customer services keep asking me to try the same steps over and over again which surely does not work!
What is more disturbing is I have given access to my Google Account to Vodafone and they placed something there which I cannot manage (delete /cancel) ... therefore I cannot even subscribe to YouTube Premium outside of Vodafone ...
Vodafone ! you need to fix this .. Who gave you the right to block my Google Account ?
Feels like a chicken and egg problem ... I speak to Vodafone after all the customer services failed to fix the issue they passed the buck to Youtube ... spoke to Youtube they say it is Vodafone.
Where do we go from here Vodafone ?

@Gemma , I am still not getting any inclusive options, I am only getting paid options now.
Have been trying to get to customer service via social as well but it's proving difficult as the advisor just left the chat in between..!
