😂😂😂 sooooo true. These moderators are a joke. They must be bots, absolute and complete joke......
I'm sorry you feel this way @Lizbodman It's disappointing to hear this has been going on for so long - I appreciate how frustrating this must be.
The best way we can help you, is if you get in touch with us using the details @Josh provided. We'll then be able to access your account and look into getting your PUK for you.
Why do I have to go through the effort to dm you via Facebook. Why can’t this be sorted through the email chain that has already been created with all mine and the phones details in it.
Are there some extra special people on Facebook that aren’t allowed to use email.
Maybe it was an automated message
I tried via twitter and it was just the same as before (have to explain everything from the start again and the same reply that shows they have not either read the message properly or understood it)
It is a massive waste of time
@Lizbodman @mitenm I'm sorry for any inconvenience that's been caused by this. Our process has changed and the team who work this Community forum and used to work our emails, are the same people who work our Facebook and Twitter queues. Please feel free to add the link from your forum post to your message on Facebook, this way you won't have to re-send us your query.
Hi Loz
Thanks for your reply
I did try and link to the forum post both when I contacted via twitter and also throught the vodafone online help and unfortunatly the result was the same.
Personally I do not want to use up anymore time on this as it really does feel like I (and it seems others in the forum) are just going around in circles
I'm having this same exact issue. My NUC and PUK code supplies by vodafone simply arent working???
Just take it to a shop and pay to get it done.
No one on Vodafone has the skill set when it comes to this. I've had numerous phone calls, started forum threds and had ongoing emails and they keep saying it's not their issue.
I've got a master unlock code and 2 NUC from them but they keep saying the PUK needs to come from the new supplier.
Well I just bought a 99p sim card and put it in the phone and it has a PUK on the package.
Guess what, didn't work.
So yeah I'll be taking mine to a local phone shop where they might have a clue.
Hey @Landingwombats, it's disappointing to hear you're having trouble getting your phone unlocked. Have you entered the master code and NUC as follows?
1. Restart the phone with the new SIM Card inserted
2. You should be prompted for an unlock code
3. Enter the master code and press unlock (MCK)
4. The phone will display “Network Unlock Request Unsuccessful”
5. Enter the NETWORK UNLOCK Code and press unlock (nck/nuc)
6. The phone should display “Network Unlock Successful”
Give this a try and let me know how you get on, if you're still having problems I'll be happy to investigate further.
Forgot my SIM card unlock PIN on galaxy S9. Already entered wrong password three times and SIM card locked. To unlock must have to enter PUK get from service provider. How can i get PUK? Is there any other method to reset SIM PIN?
I've contacted vodafone multiple times but no one knows what they're doing and keep giving me the NUC or PUK , so I don't have the master code 😅😅
@bestusefultips @Landingwombats I'm sorry to hear you're both having issues getting your devices unlocked
Whether it's an NUC, PUK or even a Master Code you require, we'll be able to get this sorted for you. Please can you get in touch with us privately, using one of the following channels:
Twitter - @VodafoneUK
Facebook – Vodafone UK
Live chat – Click Here
Whenever I talk to someone via the live chat they just tell me to call 191 and 191 is so annoying to get to where you need to be, then the people I get matched with don't know what master code etc is?
@Landingwombats I'm really sorry to hear this. Have you been able to get in touch via our Social Media channels instead? The teams who work on these channels are the same people who manage this Community forum - we'll be more than happy to help 😊
Hello
I have a samsung note 8 and have the same problem.
I entered the NUC incorrect and its now blocked any other sim apart from vodafone. Message says
"SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK." and I am going around and around in circles and after several phone calls to vodafone still not getting anywhere.
Please can a moderator help me with this. Its not the NUC or puk code, I need its the mastercode or reset code.
Thank you.
Adnan
Let's get this done immediately @adnanjafar, you shouldn't need to go round and round in circles.
One of our team will be happy to access your account and chase this up for you. Please get in touch via Facebook at Vodafone UK, or contact us on Twitter using the handle @VodafoneUK.
Make sure to pop your username and link to this thread in your message too, this will save you having to explain again and we can help you quicker.
Hi, i'm having the same problem have been on Vodafone chat more than once and still not sorted, keeping telling me I need to be in touch with SKY which is the SIM card I want to put in, they say I need Vodafone, the phone is unlocked I have tried a Talk Talk sim in and it works just fine. Please could you sort this our after 3 hours emailing and talking am getting really fed up, especially with what we pay each month.
Hey @Princess104 If the Talk Talk SIM is working in the phone, then yes it's been correctly unlocked. The PUK (PIN Unlock Key), is a unique code that is linked to your specific SIM. If you're getting this message when your Vodafone SIM is inserted, we can help with this, pop us a message on Facebook ot Twitter with your full name and mobile number and we'll provide this. If you're being asked for this when your Sky SIM is inserted, only Sky can provide this and you'll need to speak to them.
I'm having the exact same issue, please help.
@Rich_T86 We can help with any issues you're having with unlocking your phone.
Please pop a message over to us on Facebook or Twitter with your Community username and link to your post. You then won't need to repeat your query and we can help
