Hi Vodafone
My account has been closed on 7th January, final bill paid in February and £0 balance on account.
You are still reporting to credit reference agencies that the account is active, and not closed and Settled.
I have spoken with your customer service team online and by phone, and no one seems to understand what I'm talking about.
Please can someone help me from the Forum Team to get me in touch with the correct department to have my account 'closed and settled' with all credit reference agencies? Thanks.

@mtoreilly I'm really sorry to hear that you're still having problems with your credit file, I understand how disappointing this must be. We've made a little change to our process for getting in touch. So our team can take a closer look into this for you again, please get in touch with us via the following channels:
- Facebook through Vodafone UK
- Twitter by using @VodafoneUK
If you're unable to send your details through Social Media, we'll be able to help you via Live Chat too.

@Colleen
Thanks. I sent a message through Facebook messenger over 24 hours ago and I’ve had no acknowledgment or response to it yet. How long should I expect to wait?

Thanks for sending a message over to us via Facebook as requested @mtoreilly. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you, our social channels are busier than usual at the moment and we're working hard to respond to all of our customers, as quickly as possible.
Alternatively, if you prefer to chat in to us morestantaneously, you can speak with an adviser via our Live Chat service 🙂

I’ve been patiently waiting for over 3 days now, this is beyond a joke. And it’s no good suggesting the live chat because every time I’ve tried I get a message saying everyone is busy and to try again later. It may come as a surprise but I can’t actually spend all day trying the live chat and chasing Vodafone. This is a mess of Vodafone’s making, which I’ve already tried to fix once and it still isn’t sorted!

@mtoreilly I'm sorry to hear it's taking a little while to get things resolved - I understand how frustrating this must be. Our team will do everything they can to get back to you and help you further, as quickly as possible. Please keep a lookout for our response.

Hi I am having exactly the same issue. My contract to Vodafone ended November 2018 - account was settled and closed. However according to my credit report you are still reporting that I hold a credit account with you showing £0 balance each month. Please can you contact me to resolve as I am not impressed? Need the account to be marked as settled as at November 2018. Thanks Graham

@gwiddecombe Hi Graham, if you haven't already you'll need to contact us on Facebook or Twitter through the link @TJ has provided above. We'll then be able to access your account securely and resolve this for you.

My account is also not showing as settled despite the fact that it was closed, with a zero balance, three years ago.
I don't use FB or Twitter and as the poor performance of your chat operators was one of the reasons that led me to close my account I'm not confident they will be able to assist.
Do you have an email address or a different method that I can use to get this error resolved?
Many Thanks
