Hi,
same problem as most people. Bought my phone from carephone warehouse but using vodaphone as a contract. Lost my phone and Vodafone say they can’t black list my phone! Everyone I have spoken to says only network providers can blacklist! This has gone in for 3 weeks now having to call Vodafone everyday I’ve rthe festive period when I should be spending time with my family!

Hi, I purchased my phone at Currys and have been unable to get proof that my IMEI has been blocked, so same issue as people above. Please can you help me urgently, its been so stressful trying to deal with Vodafone customer support and my insurers.
My insurers say vodafone should be able to provide this.

@beepred What company blacklisted the phone to begin with? Also, do you use a Vodafone SIM with the phone in question, before it was blacklisted?

I desperately need help
bought a pay monthly through carphone warehouse with vodaphone as my provider.
ive lost the phone when i was on bus. Immediatelt notified vodaphone. Been speaking to customer service multiple times. Promised theyve bblacklisted the phone. Contacted customer service again coz insurance said it hasnt been blacklisted.
now i find out that if the phone was not 'bought' from vodaphone they wont blacklist the device!!!!
i am so stressed. And been passed on fr carphone warehouse and vodaphone customer service. Seriously i am desperate.

clearly i have been using the plan with you guys and you leave me hanging like this. Carphone warehouse cant blcklist because theyre third party sellers!
do customers who buy from third party sellers have to suffer so greatly before you take action? This is unacceptable.
what do you expect customers to do? Take this to court?
police doesnt give a ##~## if you lost your phone because they dont even entertain this at the polic station no more.

Hello, am having the same issues, can someone please help? I think i've spoken to five advisors now, all of whom have either told they can't block my IMEI number or that they've done it only for it to still be clear. Really struggling to understand why this is so difficult?!
