Unable to log in or create account

For over 2 months now I have been unable to log in to my account. I have called tech team for support, sat online and waited 48 hours each time before doing what they told me to do and have been in store. Still no luck. I keep getting error message 500, FMW_0_0001 - [Error ref 1w0]

 

If I try and register for an online account I'm told my number is not recognised. I have been with Vodafone for over 12 years with the same contact number. I'm close to cancelling both the contracts I have now as this is getting really frustrating. 

 

Anyone else had this and been able to fix it?

I can understand how frustrating this will be for you @Louisecoops 

May I assume you've also spoken with the Vodafone Social Media Team on Twitter and Facebook  ?

If not then please do as they have access to accounts too.

What have the Vodafone departments you've spoken with advised as to why you maybe facing these error codes ?

You could also raise a complaint.

By coming to the forum you have found the best place to get this solved.  Drop the Social Team a message here Contact Us It sounds like the account is locked and will need to have all previous log in information deleted from the system to enable a fresh account to be set up for the numbers.

 

The Team will also be able to set up the new account on your behalf with a temporary password for you to change.

 

 

 

This has been done. They have done a complete account cleanse and tell me to re register in 48 hours. When trying to do that I get the same error messages. 

They have done the account cleanse 3xs now and changed my email and username several times. 

 

The temporary password that gets sent also doesn't work. I get the same error messages and have done all this in front of staff in store. The staff member even tried himself and was unable to do it.

If the account cleanse has already been done @Louisecoops , it more than likely there were still some information remaining on the system and it hadn't completely cleared, this should have been checked after the 48 hours.

 

As frustrating as it is the cleanse will need to be done again.  This happened to me recently although I am sure it was something to do with me trying to change the email address on the account.

 

The Team will get to the bottom of this and get this escalated.

I never hear back from anyone to say it's been completed. I wait more than 48 hours and try again still nothing so I contact them and get told it's going to be deleted and cleansed. 

 

When I went in store I didn't even have a username on the account so it didn't matter what I tried it wouldn't have worked. 

 

So what do I need to do now? How can I access my account without repeating everything again and again.

I doubt it happened to me know to

I heard the same thing, cleansed my account, waited 48 hours and still no access, tried to re register and doesn’t recognised my number, what have they been doing to our accounts ??

Hello

Did you manage to get this issue sorted? I have had the same issue since May18th. Ive been in touch with social team every week nearly and no solution. Aparently the super team are dealing with it but after 6 weeks of waiting they aint done nothing yet.
